Novaluron

Insecticide Novaluron

Description

Novaluron is an insect growth regulator that works by stopping young insects from growing and developing properly, which causes them to die. The word 'growth regulator' means it doesn't kill adult insects right away, but instead prevents young insects from growing into adults. When you apply novaluron to your crops, young insects that eat the treated plants will not be able to grow properly and will die. It works especially well on many different types of insects including caterpillars, beetles, whiteflies, and many other crop pests. One of the advantages of novaluron is that it is relatively safe for beneficial insects like bees and other pollinators, which makes it a good choice when you need to protect your crops but also want to protect beneficial insects. It's commonly used on vegetables, fruits, and field crops to control a wide variety of insect pests. Novaluron is particularly effective against caterpillars and whiteflies. However, it's important to know that novaluron works best when applied early, before insects become adults, because it stops young insects from developing. You should spray it when you see young insects or eggs on your crops. Always wait the required number of days (usually 7-14 days) after spraying before harvesting your crops. Always follow the label instructions and wear protective clothing when using this product.
