Tau-fluvalinate
Description
Tau-fluvalinate is a contact insecticide that works by affecting the nervous system of insects, causing them to die quickly when they touch it. The word 'contact' means that insects must come into direct contact with the spray for it to work. Tau-fluvalinate is a more active form of fluvalinate, which means it works better and you need to use less of it. When you apply tau-fluvalinate to your crops, insects that touch the treated plants will be affected and die. It works especially well on many different types of insects including beetles, caterpillars, aphids, thrips, and many other crop pests. One of the advantages of tau-fluvalinate is that it kills insects quickly when they come into contact with it, and because it's more active, you can use lower amounts to get the same results. It's commonly used on vegetables, fruits, and field crops to control a wide variety of insect pests. Tau-fluvalinate is particularly effective against beetles and caterpillars. However, it's very important to know that tau-fluvalinate can be harmful to beneficial insects like bees and other pollinators, so you should avoid spraying it when bees are actively visiting your crops. Also, tau-fluvalinate can be harmful to fish and other aquatic life, so you must be very careful not to let it run off into streams, ponds, or irrigation water. You should spray it when insects are actively present and causing damage to your crops. Make sure to spray both the top and bottom of leaves, as insects often hide on the underside of leaves. Always wait the required number of days (usually 7-14 days) after spraying before harvesting your crops. Always follow the label instructions and wear protective clothing when using this product.
